Volunteering Experience

South Brunswick American Red Cross

As president of the South Brunswick Red Cross, I have been able to learn a lot about service. Our chapter strives to make a difference the in community by working alongside healthcare professionals, hosting blood drives, promoting disaster awareness, giving back to those in need, and planning engaging events for all ages.

Every two seconds someone in the United States is in need of blood. Our chapter has worked with the New Jersey American Red Cross Association to host blood drives every year. We have had more than 50 donors at every drive and have helped collect over 200 pints of blood for our local blood bank.

West Windsor Arts Council

During my time as an events volunteer for West Windsor Arts Council, I got to work with a lot of children and help them foster their love for art. I assisted running booths during events, taught art classes, set up gallery exhibitions, and got to learn a lot about local artists in the community.

Penn Medicine Princeton Health

I had the opportunity to be apart of a selected cohort of individuals to volunteer for Penn Medicine. I assisted with wheelchair transportation, helped nurses and doctors, handled records, and stocked supplies. During my 80 hours there, I learned a lot about the patients, staff, and what it truly means to serve.
